Karlo Matkovic Contract & Salary

Karlo Matkovic is on the books for $2,296,271 in 2026-27, the 15th largest cap hit on the New Orleans Pelicans roster and 1.2% of the team's $196.2M payroll.

That ranks 405th among the 434 players with a 2026-27 salary on the books, and eats 1.4% of the $165.0M salary cap.

This is an expiring contract: 2026-27 is the last season on it, worth $2,296,271 guaranteed.

Every remaining year is fully guaranteed — no options and no non-guaranteed money, so the full amount is owed regardless of what happens.

At 25, the deal covers his age-25 through age-25 seasons — the prime years teams are usually paying a premium for.

He sits in the bottom third of the roster by salary, the part of the payroll teams use to fill out the depth chart without moving the cap needle.

He is one of 15 players on the New Orleans Pelicans' books for 2026-27, whose 2026-27 salaries add up to $196,221,049.

New Orleans Pelicans sit at $196.2M in payroll and are currently classified Over Cap, with +$5.7M of room below the first apron.
