Hard Cap Tracker
A hard cap is a hard ceiling. Once a team uses one of the moves that triggers it, it cannot finish a single day of the season above that apron line for any reason. This tracks who is hard capped, at which apron, and how much room is left underneath it.

Repeater Tax Tracker

Trade Kicker Tracker
A trade kicker pays the player a bonus when he is dealt, and the bonus lands on the acquiring team’s books — so it raises the salary that team has to match. Every player carrying one, and what it is worth.

Trade Exceptions
A team over the cap that trades a player away and takes back less salary keeps the difference as a credit it can spend on one incoming player later. Every one of them in the league, with the trade that created it and the day it dies.

Mid-Level & Bi-Annual
Every team has exactly one mid-level exception, and which one it is follows from where its payroll sits rather than from anything it chooses. This is which one each team holds and how much of it is still unspent.

Spending Power
Every tool a team has left to add salary with, added up: cap room if it renounces everything, or the exceptions and trade exceptions it keeps by staying over the cap. Whichever route gives it more money is the one that counts.
