Georges Niang Contract & Salary

Georges Niang is on the books for $2,449,421 in 2026-27, the 12th largest cap hit on the Golden State Warriors roster and 1.1% of the team's $220.8M payroll.

That ranks 360th among the 435 players with a 2026-27 salary on the books, and eats 1.5% of the $165.0M salary cap.

This is an expiring contract: 2026-27 is the last season on it, worth $0 guaranteed.

Not every year is locked in: 2026-27 non-guaranteed.

The non-guaranteed money is not real money until it is: the team can waive him before the guarantee date and carry none of it, which is why the guaranteed total below is lower than the headline number.

At 26, the deal covers his age-26 through age-26 seasons — the prime years teams are usually paying a premium for.

He sits in the bottom third of the roster by salary, the part of the payroll teams use to fill out the depth chart without moving the cap needle.

He is one of 15 players on the Golden State Warriors' books for 2026-27, whose 2026-27 salaries add up to $220,838,432.

Golden State Warriors sit at $220.8M in payroll and are currently classified Tax Payer, with -$12.3M of room below the first apron.
